RICK Planning + Design office in Englewood, CO (Denver metro area) is seeking a qualified planning student or professional for a full or part time summer internship. RICK has been completing community and comprehensive plans, neighborhood plans, downtown plans, and similar engagements for public sector clients across Colorado, the Mountain West, and Great Plains for the last five years, and RICK as a company has operated across the western United States for over 65 years. RICK also completes planning and entitlement assignments for private sector clients across the region.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Planning Intern position is a student working toward a degree (undergrad or graduate level) in planning.
The Planning intern will assist our group with
- Technical analyses (GIS, and analyses of planning metrics for communities)
- The development of materials to be used in community engagement efforts
- Graphical support for the development of community engagement materials as well as preliminary and final versions of documents (to include Comprehensive Plans and General Plans)
- The development of text and other content to be included in documents (such as Comprehensive and General Plans)
Required Skills
- Fully proficient in the Adobe creative suite (Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
