The Role

The Account Management team at Plate IQ serves as the main point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs, after the client has been successfully onboarded. The team is responsible for ensuring customers are successful, satisfied with the product, and profitable.

The Account Manager’s objectives are to: (a) build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships; (b) maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewal;, and (c) develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients. You will be measured by client satisfaction, churn rate, client utilization of Plate IQ products , and ability to upsell clients on additional Plate IQ products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet regularly with your clients in quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to get their feedback on what is working vs. needs improvement, obtain product feedback, and identify opportunities for upsell
  • Develop client relationships and identify opportunities to deliver more value to specific accounts
  • Develop trusted relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet upsell quotas
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Serve as a feedback loop from clients about potential product enhancements

Ingredients

  • Proven track record of Account Management/Customer Success meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback
  • Proficiency with common customer relationship management software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with SaaS offerings and supporting client relationships
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
