We are hiring a ServiceNow Business Analyst on our Federal Protective Service (FPS) Technical Communications (TACCOM) Support Services (TCSS) Contract. This position is based out of Northern Virginia however we are working 100% remotely at this time. Remote and flexible working options will be available if this position becomes hybrid. In this role, you will work as a member of the FPS Project Management Office (PMO) team that delivers programmatic and contract operations support to FPS’ national land-mobile radio (LMR) system operations and maintenance. As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will work with FPS’ ServiceNow developers to facilitate and lead the implementation of new or enhanced ServiceNow functionality and develop practical solutions to increase visibility over key components of the program.
Here’s what makes a successful candidate:
- Experience leading or managing projects using Project Management Institute’s best practices and managing project elements (scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication, stakeholder management)
- Experience with project planning & task scheduling
- Expertise in requirements gathering and analysis for developing custom solutions/workflows
- Ability to develop and execute test plans (i.e., user acceptance testing), and end user training
- Ability to create process efficiencies based on analytical system data by creating dashboards, training plans, and presentations.
- Understand the linkage between the FPS radio program and ServiceNow to be a visionary for the evolution of services to improve mission operations
- Demonstrate experience utilizing ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Possess experience managing and working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting by effectively responding to inquiries.
- Be highly skilled at multitasking, driving projects to completion, and adapting to changing priorities.
- Demonstrate deep analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
- Demonstrate the understanding of agile project management methodology, tools, and templates.
Requirements
3-5 years business analysis or experience with ServiceNow projects.
- Must have ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
- Ability to understand business goals/processes and translate them into functional requirements, applying industry best practices to deliver solutions that meet or exceed functional requirements.
- Ability to use ServiceNow to develop solutions to meet business goals or improve existing inefficient or manual processes.
- ServiceNow “Certified System Administrator” certification (preferred)
Salary Description
$75,000 – $85,000
