As a Sr. PLM Consultant, you will design and implement complex , impactful software solutions for Astra . You will work closely with project managers, software developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

The Opportunity:

    • Solution Design: You will work with Engineering and Manufacturing to understand their business requirements and develop technical solutions to meet those needs. You will also create detailed technical designs for software solutions and provide input into the overall system architecture.
    • Technical Expertise: As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be responsible for staying up to date with the latest technologies and trends in Siemens software development. You will use this knowledge to provide technical leadership to development teams and ensure that solutions meet industry standards. You would be providing guidance and mentoring other team members, and ensuring that the team is working efficiently and effectively.
    • Project Management: You will work with other managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. This may involve developing project plans, coordinating resources, and monitoring progress.
    • Stakeholder Management: You will work closely with business users, vendors, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and manage their expectations. You will also be responsible for communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Outline process changes that will need to occur and assist the customer drive Organizational Change.
    • Quality Assurance: You will be responsible for ensuring that software solutions are of high quality and meet customer requirements. This may involve performing testing and debugging activities and working with development teams to resolve issues.
    • To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background and experience designing and implementing complex software solutions. You should also have excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Qualifications:

    • 10+years of experience of working as Solution Architect within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), preferably within Teamcenter.
    • Significant experience as Solution Architect within mid to large PLM projects
    • Understanding of business processes and challenges within digitalization
    • Multiple years designing Teamcenter solutions and large software implementation projects
    • Experience in BMIDE, Workflows, ITK, SOA and Teamcenter Administration.

Desired Multipliers

    • Experience of working with implementation of PLM systems like Teamcenter in an integrated landscape where PLM is interacting with ERP (preferably ODOO) and MES (ION) using custom integration.
    • Experience of working with implementation of PLM systems that support multiple engineering domains, such as Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Supply chain.
    • API development.
    • Client Customization using Teamcenter RAC API (Java & Eclipse Rich Client Platform).
    • Server Customization using Teamcenter ITK API (C/C++)
    • Data model and configuration using BMIDE and Teamcenter Applications: Workflows Designer, Access Manager, PLMXML, Project, Query Builder, Classification and Report Builder
    • (Basic) Knowledge in one or several Teamcenter Topics: Requirement Management, Program Management, Document Management, BOM Management, Manufacturing
    • Teamcenter NX Integrations
    • Dispatcher & Translation Services

$155,000 – $185,000 a year

The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base salary range in the San Francisco Bay Area and excludes additional earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits. If your salary requirements fall outside of the range, we still encourage you to apply.

ITAR Requirements: This position requires compliance with U.S. Government space technology trade restrictions, specifically the International Trafficking in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and additional regulations governing satellite, launch vehicle, missile, and other related technologies. All jobs restricted by these regulations will be contingent upon the applicant’s status as a documented U.S. Person or their ability to receive a trade license from the cognizant government agency; in addition to any required company background checks and in compliance with applicable U.S. and California laws. Similarly, positions requiring the ability to work on government contracts or a security clearance are also contingent upon the applicants ability to receive the appropriate clearance and be allowed to work on U.S. government contracts.
