Description
Enjoy working in an environment that promotes fun and a commitment to community? This position is responsible for the delivery of a clean, friendly and safe environment that enhances the participant’s experience and ensures customer expectations are met under the direction of the Facility Manager.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represents the District as a point of contact to program instructors, residents, customers, participants during programs.
- Responsible for maintaining control and monitoring the building.
- Responds to all customer comments and questions in a timely fashion.
- Have a basic working knowledge of the RecTrac and WebTrac registration system.
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas throughout the facility (i.e. mopping, vacuuming, garbage).
- Report to the Facility Manager any repairs and supplies needed.
- Knows, understands and adheres to Park District policies and procedures.
- Maintain a proactive approach to safety and risk management. Report all accidents, incidents and unsafe conditions in a timely manner.
- Execute effective emergency procedures as needed.
- Performs all job tasks within the rules and guidelines of the District’s safety program.
- Performs any additional related tasks as required.
Requirements
- Must be least 16 years of age.
- C.P.R., AED, and First Aid Certification required; or ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire date.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and work well with the public and other staff.
- Ability to follow direction and work independently.
Salary Description
Starting at $15.00 per hour
