Details:
A Drafter/ Detailer job is currently available at Belcan in Windsor, CT. This is a full time, direct position with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have skills with using NX and some practical drafting or detailing experience. You will be part of a team: applying drafting standard practices, methods, and techniques for a variety of products within the aerospace industry.
Drafter/ Detailer job duties:
* Use appropriate drafting standards to produce various detail, assembly, and layout drawings, or other diagrams and schematics to transform the design into a
more useful visual representation.
* Revise drawings to conform to design change orders.
* Assist design personnel, as required, in all other aspects of drawing creation process.
Qualifications:
* DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR WORK, US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED
* Associate degree or 7 years experience
* Experience with NX CAD software
* Experience with mechanical parts and assemblies
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Familiarity with engineering data storage and management systems such as Teamcenter
Desired but not required skills:
* Model based design (MBD)
* Software experience with NX 11
The pay rate for this opportunity is $22-25/hour however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate”s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
