BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology and infrastructure for the life sciences industry.
Job Highlights:
This position will be 35-40 hours per week. Open flexibility and variable start times 3 – 6am. Ability to be flexible. Monday – Fridays with alternating Sundays.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Physically load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle in a safe, timely manner
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
- Maintain vehicle appearance by ensuring all routine vehicle maintenance is completed and records maintained
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to dispatch/ managers
- Possible Warehouse duties – Clean, wash and sanitize truck’s
The work is characterized as light work. Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Minimum Requirements and Employee Expectations
- Must be at least 21+ years of Age
- Valid driver’s license
- DOT Medical Card Preferred.
- US Passport Preferred.
- Acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes).
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to use smartphones and willingness to learn our company’s workflow-related applications.
- Basic computer, tablet and/or smartphone skills and GPS and other routing systems
- Experience driving cargo vans and box trucks.
- Be a quick learner, detail-oriented, dependable, have a positive attitude
- Communication proficiency – Able to follow verbal and written directions
- Must NOT be restricted for access on military bases and government facilities
