Sr. Embedded Test and Validation Engineer – Motor Control

Job description:

In your new role you will:

  • Support the management of a large-scale electronics lab that combines test, validation and prototyping needs.
  • Lead the iMOTION test strategy and ensure we meet our NPI quality metrics.
  • Analyze product requirements and derive test methodologies and plans.
  • Ensure traceability all the way from product requirements to test plans and test reports
  • Collaborate with the SW team to align module, integration and system test efforts.
  • Develop and document the test plan for function, pre-compliance, and validation tests.
  • Design, build and maintain automated test systems for ‘ready-for-use’ determination of our iMOTION solutions (different HW platforms and regular SW releases).
  • Support troubleshooting and performance testing of customer specific systems.
  • Document and analyze the test results and provide improvement suggestions.
  • Communicate and knowledge sharing within a cross functional team

Your Profile:

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in product development/test of embedded systems used in electromechanical or power conversion equipment
  • 3 years of relevant experience in product test and/or validation
  • 3 years of experience with software programming/scripting tools and the implementation of test frameworks (leveraging NI LabVIEW, Python or similar tools)
  • 3 years of relevant experience working in an electronics lab

Wage Range that the Company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:
Minimum of $121,700.00 salary per year
Maximum of $162,000.00 salary per year

In addition, all full-time employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
