We are looking for a Clinical Therapist ( LMSW/LCSW) to work for one of our clients, an addiction treatment center, located in Calverton, NY.
This is a permanent, full-time job with benefits. Flexible schedule, 40 hrs per week (one Saturday per month required).
In this role you would be responsible for day-to-day psychotherapy and case management requirements of a licensed inpatient medically supervised stabilization and withdrawal program, rehabilitation program and reintegration program.
An ideal candidate would Master’s level degree in behavioral sciences or social work, a valid License as a Clinical Social Worker or related-fields (LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, or equivalent) in the State of New York, and at least three (3) years clinical experience providing treatment for addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders, specific experience with stabilization and withdrawal management care and/or rehabilitation settings, experience with therapeutic groups (preferably addiction-oriented), therapeutic communities, and inpatient care.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provide individual and group therapy for all treatment programs for patients and their family members
- Direct care delivery including but not limited to assessment of physiologic and psychosocial health status
- Delivers modality specific care including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, contingency management, and relapse prevention
- Interviewing patients, establishing treatment goals and plan
- Maintain understanding of current treatments, knowledge, and practices in addiction care and prioritize the use of best and evidence-based practices
- Develop and maintain standard policies, procedures to ensure quality services and compliance with accrediting entities.
- Maintain documentation, patient files, and statistics as required by departmental policies and funding sources

The salary range for this position is $71,000-$82,000/year
