The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $82,000 – $166,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
- Develop the Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) program and procedures with externally contracted support to be fit for purpose and uniquely adapted to the Dematic AWP Program and its projects; Single point of contact for AWP;
- Interface with key functions to align AWP principles to existing processes including but not limited to Product Management, Solutions Development, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Installation, Material Management, Finance, Support Functions, etc…
- Support the development of a Work Breakdown Structure & Nomenclature that delineates work packages for Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
- Establish and Manage internal AWP Project Teams and capability.
- Interface with Engineering, Procurement, & Manufacturing to ensure consistent Installation Work Package completion for Installer/Foremen
- Applies Dematic AWP procedures and ensures Project Teams adherence to AWP standards.
- Develop KPI dashboards that monitor Engineering, Procurement, and Installation Progress.
- Develop Path of Construction standards and development of AWP execution schedules containing Engineering Work Packages, Procurement Work Packages, and Construction Work Packages.
What We are Looking For:
- The ideal candidate possess 5+ years of experience building, deploying, and administering AWP on industrial construction projects.
- Engineering, Construction Management, or comparable degree with extensive site execution experience preferred; trade work experience considered
- Project Management training and 5+ years of experience with overall understanding of concepting, engineering, module assembly, supply chain, material warehousing, construction execution and turnover
- Strong management and facilitation skills, ability to navigate unstructured environments, technical writing, communication, empathic listening, relationship building, hold people accountable.
- Emphatic focus on the “Installer” first ideology which helps the project stakeholder understand their contributions to the application of AWP, IM, WFP
