The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $110,000-$160,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What you Will do in This Role:

  • Establish the Global Installation Site Management Program
  • Develop key deliverables, work instructions, and templates to facilitate harmonization through the regional installation organizations.
  • Develop strong ties into the Safety, Quality, and Material Management Organizations to ensure a cohesive site management execution strategy
  • Work with regional installation site management leadership to implement the site management program, which would include audits / assessments to validate adherence to standards.
  • Own Quality Gate 4 design and establish minimum expectations for project compliance.
  • Reporting: Harmonize Site Manager required metrics in project reporting and/or communications plans. Shall coordinate with Installation / Pre-Commissioning / Commissioning Leads to ensure timely and accurate reports are submitted to the Project Manager. Escalation guidelines should be included.
  • Training: Develop guidance to Site Managers, with EHS, to ensure that all personnel, including visitors and short service workers, have received the required training for their respective scopes of work at the Project Site.
  • Communication and Customer Engagement: Develop guidance for Site Managers to act as the on-site representative of the Project Manager and represent on their behalf in meetings with Dematic Leadership or Customer Representatives.
  • Risk Management: Detail Site Manager responsibility to manage Site Execution Risks and Work Control approvals (i.e. working at heights, hot work, lifting, working on energized gear).
  • Other tasks/duties as assigned.

What We are Looking For:

  • Education: B.S. or B.A. in business, logistics, engineering or related discipline. Education requirement may be waived with 10+ years job specific related experience.
  • Preferred minimum of 5 years in Heavy Construction / Installation Project Site based experience. Experience with mechanical and electrical components required. On-Site experience shall include at least 3 years a leadership role of Shift Supervisor or higher.
  • Applicable job specific military experience (i.e. leadership role (E-7 or above) in the Army Corp of Engineers, CEC, Navy / CG Shipyard) will be considered.
  • Desire to build a program from the ground up. Understanding program design, training requirements, and influencing without authority are critical traits for success.
  • Experience with reporting to leadership with respect to Site Construction / Installation progress, cost, and schedule.
  • Minimum 3 years multi-discipline experience in a design / procure / build project.
  • Proven experience required in safety management including general understand of industry leading and lagging safety KPIs.
  • General knowledge of site-based materials inventory management, site quality, and site safety programs.
  • Excellent communication, influencing without authority, leadership skills, and competence in making recommendations for timely, effective, principles-based decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility and confidence with a wide variety of leaders and project managers and be seen as a trusted advisor.
  • Experience in the analysis of performance metrics with a short and long term planning mentality.
  • Experience in establishing and sustaining an effective KPI-driven operating / execution cadence.
  • Demonstrated outstanding team building skills with the ability to improve interaction and efficiency as well as the ability to break down barriers / silos.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
  • Strong PC skills with MS Office .
  • Ability to travel at least 25% (may be higher pending location).
