Job Title: System Engineer
Reports To: Supervisor of IT Infrastructure and Security

Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000
Location: Westwood (Onsite)
Summary: Our company is searching for a System Engineer, you will help design, configure, install, and troubleshoot critical Infrastructure components and services. This includes Cyber Security, Networking, Server, and Storage Management. The Infrastructure Team specializes in engineering out-of-the-box solutions to improve efficiencies, maintains a high level of security, and engages in projects. They will need to be self-motivated, organized, and a team player.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Daily operational support of Microsoft Windows OS servers, network, databases and applications spread across multi-sites
- Cyber Security experience including endpoint protection, web and email security, data loss prevention, application security, intrusion detection, prevention and response
- Handling top-tier escalations for all technology and systems
- Backup administration for Veeam, Barracuda, and Datto across multiple sites
- Administration of Office365, Active Directory and related products (GPO management, SharePoint, Exchange, PowerBi, SSO, Azure, MFA, etc.)
- Mobile Device Management administration via Air-Watch and Microsoft Intune
- Application deployment and security patching via SCCM.
- Providing after-hours support for server and networking-related issues
- Network configuration and troubleshooting with Cisco switches and routers
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Skills:
- Windows Server (2008/2012/2016) and Windows 10
- Tax or Accounting applications such as Datafaction, QuickBooks, Lacerte, Prosystem, etc.
- Virtualization technologies: VMware, Hyper-V, Acropolis, etc.
- Strong Documentation, Communication and Organizational skills
- Strong working knowledge and concepts of Cloud computing and technology
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Batch, BASH, and Python
- Experience with Linux OS
- Familiarity with California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018
- Familiarity with office buildouts and IT requirements
- Familiarity with SQL DB Administration
- Networking skills such as SDWAN/MPLS/Switch Routing
- Professional Services experience
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and good judgement
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work harmoniously and effectively with others
- Able to work under time and project deadlines
Education / Experience Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience, with 5 years of experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems in an enterprise-grade, Windows client-server environment.
Certifications (Preferred but not required):
- CISSP or Security+
- MCSA or MCSE certifications
- Network+, CCENT, CCNA, or CCIE
Physical Demands / Work Environment:

- Frequent use of hands and reaching with hands and arms.
