DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cornerstone Building Brands is looking for a Field Service Representative to join its Field Service team. This role is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the continental United States. Our Field Service Representatives are involved with the day-to-day activities of providing and maintaining customer relations through timely and thorough responses to all post shipment inquiries.
- Provide feedback and data of all reoccurring issues
- Provide a strong focus of customer service with timely responses regarding inquiries from Builder organization
- Develop and maintain customer relations by seeking customer feedback, both external and internal, to ensure continuous improvement takes places to improve overall performance
- Communicate/coordinate technical issues in support of customer needs
- Undertaking all customer support tasks in external facilities
- Guaranteeing that the work progress accurately follows the agenda
- Perform troubleshooting and strive to resolve issues
- Produce frequent and analytical service reports
- Coordinate with departments for root cause and/or solutions in support of customer needs.
- Discern customer needs and offer advice or recommendations
- Formulate relationships of trust with customers
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent experience required
- Technical education, certification or experience preferred
- Must have knowledge of detailing standards and the ability to read blueprints
- Prefer previous experience in at least two of the following areas
- Previous building erection experience of at least 3 years
- Previous experience in the metal building industry performing drafting or engineering
- Previous experience in manufacturing industry (5 years)
- Previous Field Service/Customer Service experience of (2 years)
- Metal Building industry highly desired
- PC competent (including Excel, Word, and Access)
- Excellent communications skills (oral and written)
- Must be available for travel periodically (10%) – on-site visits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $50,000 to $65,000 + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
