Senior Administrative Assistant

Milliman’s Seattle Health Practice seeks a Senior Administrative Assistant with to work under the direct supervision of the Office Manager, supporting our leadership and broader staff team in our Seattle office. Primary duties include but are not limited to editing and formatting reports and other materials, calendar management, client relations, and responding to requests via a centralized support ticketing system. These duties may change and shift as needed to support the practice.

About Our Practice

Milliman’s Seattle Health Practice serves a wide variety of organizations, including insurance companies, health plans, state and federal agencies, healthcare providers, reinsurance companies, providers, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and employers. The staff consists of 150+ actuarial professionals in addition to healthcare consultants, IT, Administrative, and other non-actuarial staff.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Format reports, presentations, and other materials for client managers
  • Schedule client and internal meetings
  • Process expense reports
  • Facilitate contract signatures and file in an electronic database
  • Respond to complex requests from colleagues via a ticketing system
  • Execute day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Complete special projects as needed

To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications:

Professional Qualifications

  • Some college required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Five or more years of prior administrative experience.
  • Intermediate or higher knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat
  • Visual acuity to prepare, read, and analyze printed and electronic data
  • Must be available to work on-site in our Seattle office and work minimal overtime, as necessary
  • Able to stand, walk, lift, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds

Location

This position is based out of the Milliman office in Seattle, WA. Applicants must be willing to work onsite full-time. After training is complete, you will have the opportunity to work 1 day a week remotely.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $68,200 to $109,200, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
