Job Description
The Channel Futures media division of Informa Tech Channels seeks a dynamic junior level Associate Conference Producer to join a close-knit team producing events for the fastest-growing sector in the global technology industry. As the largest B2B events company in the world, Informa provides numerous opportunities for individuals to grow their careers in a dynamic environment of digital and live events supported by media and research platforms. The Associate Conference Producer will support both physical and digital events for our Channel Partners Events, including award show coordination, speaker management, digital content, social media enhancements, calendar management and scheduling, conference surveys, invoice processing, event research and other administrative tasks.
Areas of Responsibility & Accountability:
- Plan and execute virtual/hybrid/face-to-face events to include but not limited to project timelines, event information documents, data analysis and reporting, research and sourcing, social media enhancements, conference surveys, and administrative support on speaker planning calls.
- Award programs and ancillary event support and management.
- Liaises with speakers to prepare for events and on-site coordination.
- Owns run-of-show for awards and other administrative projects assigned
- Work as part of the planning team on events to support attendee experience and revenue goals
- Collaborate with event operations colleagues to share industry updates, promote best practices, drive synergies and consistency and foster a culture of innovation to highlight a client-centric approach.
- Supports establishing the foundation of event in virtual platform understanding overall functionality to create a quality user experience.
- Candidate will work on global live and digital events in EMEA, support expansion into APAC and other markets
- This is a remote role with travel to events less than 30%
- Preference will be given to applicants in the Eastern Time Zone
Qualifications
- Creative and resilient with a self-motivating, positive and naturally curious attitude.
- Building and maintaining relationships and understanding customer needs.
- Proven prior experience in working in cross-functional teams.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills written, verbal, presentation
- Proven expertise in managing project activity, ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to forge and develop positive relationships with multiple different internal and external stakeholders
- College degree
- 1-2 years of business experience
Knowledge & Skills:
- Tech savvy, willingness to adopt and embrace new technologies
- Analytical & problem-solving capability
- Event automation tools, platforms and knowledge
- Awards & Speaker Management experience
- Skilled in Excel, Microsoft and Adobe Suite
- Strong customer service experience
The pay range for this position is $42,500 – $50,000 depending on experience
