City Experiences is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager for our Marketing operation in New York, NY.

About the Opportunity:
The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for developing and executing email programs and customer engagement campaigns that support ongoing business needs. This role will work closely with the company leaders (including brand strategy, ecommerce, revenue, data & insights, and IT) to streamline the intake of leads and guest information and to develop effective marketing campaigns.
The Marketing Automation Manager will partner with the Data & Insights team to lead audience sizing & segmentation efforts. The ideal candidate will support the transformation of our communication strategies and take ownership of our Salesforce Marketing Cloud instance from administration to campaign implementation, recommendation of changes when needed, and reporting on success.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Define the overall email communication plan for City Experiences guests, and act as a strategic resource for integrated communications planning and marketing activation across the organization.
- Manage and execute day-to-day email and SMS programs, including creating and segmenting lists, setting up A/B and multi-variant tests, and building, scheduling, and deploying campaigns. Support digital media customer journey integrations via Salesforce Ad Studio and other tools.
- Develop database growth and lead nurturing programs, devising strategies to convert new customers as they come through the sales funnel.
- Partner with Integrated Marketing team on creation of holistic customer engagement plans that leverage City Experiences’ suite of marketing automation tools throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Partner with Data & Insights team on customer strategy, sizing, and segmentation, as well as the creation, execution, testing, reporting, analysis, and optimization of email campaigns/ marketing automation platforms.
- Partner with Sales & IT to ensure quality leads are routed through Salesforce & Marketing Cloud and notifications are sent to the sales team, increasing efficiencies and conversion rates.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring all activities occur as planned and that campaigns are executed on time, from scheduling to design, production and distribution.
- Ensure required data is captured at all customer touchpoints and accurate synchronization between Marketing Cloud and Salesforce dashboards.
- Actively drive, organize, and participate in key enhancements for marketing automation, demand gen, and email tools.
- Bring to the table a thorough knowledge of best practices and processes for marketing automation.
- Analyze reports and data and provide recommendations for marketing effectiveness.
- Iterate and optimize ongoing campaigns to drive the best possible results.
- Troubleshoot and QA campaigns, workflows, data issues, and other key marketing ops functions.
- Manage email deliverability, data hygiene, subscription management and compliance with global opt-in laws and regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- BA / BS degree in a related field
- Expert user of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar ESP/Marketing Automation Platforms
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a Marketing Automation/Marketing Ops role or similar position
- Experience working with an enterprise-level marketing automation platform a must (Marketing Cloud, Pardot, IBM Watson, Eloqua, etc.)
- Marketing ops experience using Salesforce
- Experience with A/B and multi-variant testing and dynamic content to personalize customer experience
- Expert knowledge of developing rule-based logic and email templates that integrate personalized dynamic content elements
- HTML/CSS skills and experience with HTML editor tools, Email Coding, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop a plus
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms a plus
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data sets to concrete business recommendations for marketing and sales leadership with the goal to optimize revenue-generating investments
- Experience creating and maintaining custom reports and dashboards
- Distinctive problem-solving, strategic and analytical capabilities with a strong track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics
- A self-starter, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, with some experience managing a team or agency relations
- Highly efficient team player, with the ability to also work independently in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- Process and quality-oriented with sharp attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
