The Supply Chain- Planning Solutions Consultant is responsible for influencing functional design while considering end-to-end planning implications by utilizing in-system and out-of-system tools to enhance key results and sustainability of the different planning solutions. This role will provide key project management support with cross-functional stakeholders to lead current and future Demand, Supply, Distribution Planning and Production Scheduling initiatives. The Functional Consultant will be responsible for model performance, designing and supporting new functionality, cross-functional support, & people technical development.

  • Proactively analyze and enhance the model performance of the different Planning and Optimization Solutions in the Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Distribution Requirements Planning and Production Scheduling space (new and existing functionality, simulations of business changes, and new planning system implementation). This includes work in APO DP/SNP/PPDS, SAP ECC R/3, SAP BW and OMP UNISON Solutions.
  • Work with different planning functions to identify, design, develop and improve the overall quality of planning processes by utilization of master data health checks and exception based reporting
  • Contribute to the design of functional planning processes while considering end-to-end implications for new business requirements, including active participation on design, testing and implementation.
  • SC Planning Solutions Project Management work:
    • Identify, execute and complete initiatives to support NUSA Supply Chain Planning Goals, utilizing a strong partnership with Business functions, Advanced Analytics, NBE, IS/IT to ensure data integrity and planning sustainability.
    • Participate and lead design, development and maintenance of planning tools that support more effective system planning sustainability.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • Undergraduate degree strongly preferred.
  • 7 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience performing and/or supporting Demand and Supply Planning functions.
  • At least 3 years of active experience working with SAP APO DP and/or SAP APO PPDS and/or SAP APO SNP Planning and/or OMP UNISON Solutions is required.
  • Experience actively participating in cross-functional teams to drive performance improvement and change management initiatives. At least one full project lifecycle completed.
  • Experience with large enterprise business and planning systems and ERP environments such as SAP, BW, Business Objects and OMP.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data and build quantitative models of business problems.
  • Advanced skill level in MS Office Data Analysis Tools (MS Excel and MS Access in particular)
  • Understanding of MS Azure technology is desired
  • Effective collaboration and the ability to work with personnel at all organizational levels.
  • Effectively balance multiple priorities and adapt to the demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment with dynamic demands.
  • Availability for travel as needed on an exceptional basis

The approximate pay range for this position is $105k to $135k. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
