General Purpose

The City of Commerce City is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing business processes, identifying risks, conduct internal audits, and make recommendations on potential security threats and attacks to our systems and networks. You will work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure that our organization’s security measures are up to date and effective.

Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.

The hiring range is $107,923 – $127,109 annually ($51.89 – $61.11 hourly)

The City of Commerce City has temporarily adopted a hybrid work environment that includes remote (telework) and in-person duties. The flexibility in the assigned work schedule is subject to change based on the finalization of the Return to Work policy. This position is eligible to work remotely with a minimum of 1-2 days per week on-site (days are flexible). This position will also be required to report on-site within 1 hour on an on-call basis.

PAID TIME-OFF BENEFITS:

The employee must have successfully completed their 6-month Introductory Period for eligibility.
  • Recreation Center Membership: Employees and family members are eligible for a membership to the Commerce City Recreation Center for $5.00 per person per year.
  • Golf Course Green Fees: Employees can play the City’s award-winning Buffalo Run Golf Course at a rate of $9.00 for 9-holes or $18.00 for 18-holes. Employees can also purchase golf merchandise at discounted prices.
