WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Momentum Worldwide is looking for an incredible Account Director who will drive IRL, virtual and hybrid experiential programs designed to attract prospects and engage customers to our clients’ brands. Our projects center on creating opportunities for consumers to engage with their passions across lifestyle categories, but especially music. We are seeking someone who is passionate about music and pop-culture and has some specific experience in or adjacent to the worlds of entertainment and music – either at an agency, marketing firm in the entertainment/lifestyle industry or any other culturally rooted and creatively driven marketing experience.

Must Haves:
• A strategic thinker who has the gravitas and maturity to communicate and navigate complex client environments.
• The ability of a master tactician – both strategic and tactical skills are necessary for success in the role
• Experience utilizing talent partnerships – anything from athletes to artists to chefs. You have the experience of interaction with talent and their teams
• Understand current and emerging pop culture and entertainment trends and ability to apply these to client challenges & project briefs
• Has the drive to create and grow opportunities beyond the immediate client need. Has the vision to see these opportunities and lead our clients to different destinations by being a value-add partner

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)
• Develop rapport with clients and other agency partners by providing day-to-day client contact, managing the relationships, expectations, and troubleshoot conflicts with senior clients and team members as they arise
• Guiding the team to identifying opportunities, strategic thinking and subsequent development of integrated marketing programs across brand portfolios
• On-strategy project planning and execution according to Agency standards within established budgets and timeframes
• Successfully participating in the managing of project financials in accordance with agency policy and procedure
• Building, managing and reconciling budgets
• Attaining annual revenue and contribution margin targets
• Develop staffing plans that support the business
• Deliver compelling client and new business presentations
• Demonstrate working knowledge of Momentum’s core disciplines and be proactive in growing client business across the agency
• Manage and mentor direct report(s); fostering an environment of mutual respect and partnership, strategic thinking, appropriate risk taking, open lines of communication, on-going performance feedback, and professional development
• Supporting Momentum’s values and core beliefs on an inclusive culture
• All other duties as assigned

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 8+ years related experience in marketing
• 3+ years agency experience preferred
• 3+ years music or entertainment experience preferred
• Digital experience preferred
• Previous experience guiding integrated multi-disciplinary teams to meet client goals
• Experience managing/training/mentoring more junior team members
• Experience building and managing budgets

The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $135,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
