Security Associate Manager

Overview

This position is designed to support the management of PepsiCo’s Technical Security Center of Excellence (TSCoE) team as they offer new and enhanced capabilities to the global security team and the larger organization worldwide. The TSCoE portfolio is a strategic directive supported by senior leadership across our business units and sectors. The position will contribute to the efficient and effective expansion of PepsiCo’s TSCoE capabilities in support of our corporate strategy. Delivering these capabilities will enhance the security and safety of our associates worldwide and increase the protection of our assets and brand reputations

This role reports directly to the Global Security Director who is responsible for the strategic mission of the TSCoE Team. The managerial responsibilities for this role will help support the organization as we migrate to new and improved technologies and applications to include Honeywell’s ProWatch Access Control Systems. This includes managing the TSCoE 24/7 Helpline which supports our North America associates with access control troubleshooting and identification badging issues.

This position is designed to support PepsiCo administrative, manufacturing and warehouse distribution operations worldwide with complex analysis, programming and design modifications governing physical security applications consistent with the TSCoE recommended guidelines, while providing data analytics to the TSCoE and field associates.

Additionally, this position provides support to the PepsiCo Global Security Team with the implementation of Global Security Special Projects, developed to enhance technical security capabilities worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Security Directors to enhance various aspects on core projects and to drive process improvements. This includes educating and training senior leaders on new and improved security processes and best practices thus promoting the TSCoE capabilities and utilization. In addition, it includes the development of training materials which are used to streamline specific processes for both the TSCoE team and our field users.
  • Create, support and update Global Security Policies and other documented processes/standards relating to physical security application and hardware installation.
  • Support the Global Security Sr. Director with special projects that identify advanced technical security applications in associate security awareness, life safety, travel security and activity analytics.
  • Assist in the administration of the worldwide deployment of the PepsiCo Emergency Notification System (PENS) across PepsiCo’s sectors/business units (currently deployed to over 200M associates). To include all critical project management and coordination efforts between PepsiCo’s IT Team and the PENS vendor.
  • Communicating issues and updates on a regular basis through team meetings and conference calls.
  • Collect data, share information, manage projects and drive completion of deliverables.
  • Enterprise Access Control System Administration:
  • Develop, program and test corporate electronic access control systems at PepsiCo administrative, manufacturing and warehouse distribution centers.
  • Provide system support and diagnostics to minimize cost to the site with repairs to access hardware.
  • Collaborate with manufacturer and integrators on issues and find the appropriate solutions.
  • Administer the production, design and distribute of access control/ID badges for the PBNA and PFNA sites using the Enterprise ProWatch access control systems.
  • Administer TSCoE Team SPA Box and provide timely resolution and explanation.

Financial Management:

  • Implement cost savings measures across organization through efficient program management.
  • Providing comprehensive managerial oversite and support of PepsiCo preferred vendor program to achieve plan and operational priorities for the TSCoE.
  • Manage lost badges/accessories, Direct Key service invoices and cross charges.
  • Respond and manage questions regarding service and recurring invoices in a timely manner.
  • Ensure correct and proper maintenance and fees from integrators associated with repair of security systems, recurring monitoring charges and warranty items.

I/T Coordination:

  • Liaison with IT in handling any interface related issues.
  • Ensure data feed integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems (or equivalent) with five years plus experience
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Access, Word and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in SharePoint; Kronos WFC; EZ-Track, PowerPoint
  • Advanced experience with electronic security systems and related hardware
  • Technical proficiency with network structure, access control systems and SQL
  • Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills along with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and evaluate situations
  • Experience with dealing and communicating with all levels of experience and effectively communicate the needed information
  • Ability to attain Manufacturer’s Certification in Picture Perfect and Honeywell ProWatch access control software
  • Experience with an emergency notification platform, and ability to become certified in the PepsiCo preferred system

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $81,000 – $ 135,600 based on a full-time schedule
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
