BJC Healthcare is seeking a Sports Sponsorship Consultant to manage relationships and deliverables within the sports field. Ideal candidates should have experience in larger event management and can manage deadlines with project coordination skills.

Monday-Friday, remote opportunity with availability needed for on-site weekend and evening events.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Sports Sponsorship Consultant has responsibility for all BJC HealthCare marketing sponsorships related to sports, athletics, and teams, including youth sports and professional teams. Leveraging BJC’s relationship with a variety of sports teams and leagues, this role will support sponsorship agreements for all current and future sports sponsorships, including but not limited to development of on-site presence and promotion, digital and social promotion, team publications, PR events, collateral development and community activations. This individual serves as the day-to-day contact for all teams to ensure proper execution of contracted assets and deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Manages key sponsorship and commitments related to youth, amateur, college, and professional athletics by serving as the primary point of contact and relationship manager with key stakeholders at BJC and within the teams, properties, leagues, and partners.
  • Supports overall marketing strategy related to sports by executing sponsorship agreements and contracts in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Identifies and executes opportunities for lead generation and downstream revenue at on-site and virtual activations related to sporting events.
  • Coordinates with internal marketing departments for all asset delivery needs including graphic design work, digital marketing, media relations, and others to successfully execute sponsorship agreements.
  • Offers support to the Sponsorship Supervisor for management of general marketing sponsorships and charitable sponsorship deliverables.
