Sponsor Funded Skills Crafts – Laboratory Technician I

The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking to hire an experienced Sponsor Funded Skills Crafts – Laboratory Technician to provide support tothe Neuroscience Institute. This position will support the general laboratory needs of graduate students, postdocs, and undergraduate students in the Bolton lab.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Sponsor Funded Skills Crafts – Laboratory Technician I are the following:

  • Mouse colony management and genotyping.
  • Perform and assist with cellular/molecular/behavioral experiments.
  • Process laboratory stock solutions.
  • Daily laboratory maintenance that includes ordering, update of laboratory manuals, and laboratory cleanliness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry or other natural science area; or a combination of education and related experience.
