Sr. Physician Services Contract Analyst (System)

We’re looking for someone to join our team as a Senior Physician Services Contract Analyst (System) who:
Develops and maintains a system-wide contracting system including cataloging, standardizing, measuring performance and ensuring regulatory compliance. Interfaces with executive management and acts in an advisory capacity regarding contractual and compliance requirements, client specifications, government regulations and auditing associated with physician compensation, practice acquisitions and contractual obligations. Serves as a point of contact with internal and external parties in relation to provider contract management, compliance and issues. Makes decisions that are responsible for the success or failure of business operations and is involved in planning long or short term objectives. Independent judgment is required, outside of making basic choices in the selection and application of established methods.

Essential Functions:

Works with AH management regarding drafting new physician contract, leases, hospital PSAs, amendments and renewals and are consistent with AH contracting policy. Applies working knowledge of techniques, principles, theories and concepts of the discipline, staff, technologies, services and practices to complete routine/non-routine assignments. Has advanced knowledge and experience in understanding compliance and legal requirements of contracting.

Responsibility in moving contracts towards standardization and consistency. Makes decisions that have moderate to major impact on function/family operations. Finding areas where improvement is needed, providing feedback and suggestion, organization of goals and planning, and follow through.

Supports the contracting and compensation database for all existing agreements and provides communication for all changes with financial and/or budgetary impact to all appropriate internal/external stakeholders. Works on activities of a diverse scope requiring minimal interpretation of policies and guidelines. Demonstrates substantial understanding of techniques, processes, procedures to perform the job and seeks to complete tasks in creative and effective ways.

Works with AH legal team and hospital leadership to provide contracts under AH Medical Foundation, and all supporting documentation consistent with AH and FMV standards. Verifies contract development is consistent with operational capabilities. Monitors contract compliance and takes initiative to correct problem areas. Solves and escalates operational problems and technical issues; modifies existing tools or processes.

Key point person for collection, organizing and reporting of system-wide provider hours and FTE data. Provides additional analysis and reports for AH leadership, Board of Directors, Clinic Financials, System-wide Clinic Budgets and provider productivity. Ensures reports are meeting AH standards and meets the AH Medical Foundation requirements.

Education:

Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
Bachelor’s Degree: Preferred

Work Experience:

Five years’ relevant experience: Required
Broad based general accounting or finance experience: Preferred

The estimated base pay for this position is $64,480-90,970. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through years of experience, differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
