We are seeking a Senior Ground Test Systems Software Engineer to become a member of the Military Support Programs (MSP) Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) team to support real-time test operations, maintain test sets, equipment, software, and data collection & storage in support of the program system hardware production checkout testing.
Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• Familiar with system checkout testing, procedures, functionality, and basic knowledge of electrical test equipment & tools
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise and perform software maintenance
• Integrate EGSE software with test set hardware components and test operator command and control software
• Maintain network & act as system administration for dedicated test LAN
• Real-time system checkout testing
• Support real-time data collection and analysis
• Analyze vehicle telemetry stream
• Provide a confident, knowledgeable interface to data users and answer technical questions as they arise
• Able to read and interpret basic software scripts

Basic Qualifications:
• C++ experience; Perl, Java & Test Stand
• Experience with Linux OS
• Experience with system administration and networking
• Active TS or SCI security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Troubleshooting and strong problem solving skills
• Great communication skills among peers, management and customer representatives
• LabView FPGA / Virtual Rack
• Experience with automated testing, script development, debugging, and execution
• Knowledgeable in networking
• Knowledgeable in Windows & Linux OS system administration
• Experience with Serial Rapid IO and/or XUAI
• Familiarity with embedded software
• Obtain & maintain Security+ certification
• Support Space Vehicle Test Operations including the test development process, test execution, data analysis, and anomaly resolution
• Functional awareness of RF systems and telemetry streams
• Work with electrical test equipment such as bench top power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, signal generators
• Familiar with Automation Framework

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $105,000 – $201,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
