Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring a Level 2 Configuration Management & Product Integration Engineer to support 777/777X Programs in Everett, WA. The engineer will work within a dynamic and diverse 777/777X Engineering Change Control (ECC) team. Engineering Change Control is responsible for enabling effective and efficient incorporation of authorized engineering changes into the production system or retrofit market by developing, integrating, publishing, and maintaining the Engineering statement of work.

The specific job title being hired is 777/777X Production Revision Record (PRR) Coordinator .

The Configuration Management & Product Integration Engineer will be responsible for 777/777X Production Revision Records (PRRs). This will primarily entail working closely with production value stream stakeholders (Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, and Change Board), however it will also include retrofit (Fleet) applications and associated organizations at times. As a PRR coordinator you will lead authorized change through kickoff, workstatement development, define, and issue phases of the committed change process to meet critical incorporation targets. A successful PRR coordinator communicates expectations clearly and concisely, understands product flow and scheduling, has strong project management skills, follows-through, strives to be technically conversant, and builds strong relationships.

This position is 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the development and management, and performs limited analysis of process and product baselines
  • Works under general direction to coordinate and conduct product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products
  • Performs routine analysis of product trades and/or changes and assists in the development of change proposals
  • Participates in the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes, systems and tools
  • Utilizes data gathered from customers to assist in the definition of Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems
  • Assists in the integration, routine analysis and resolution of issues with engineering product structure
  • Assists with the development and implementation of engineering technical program plans of limited scope including impacts, risks and incorporation of lessons learned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors or higher degree in engineering.

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Including MS Project)
  • Adobe
  • ECAS
  • IBEX

Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and typically 2 or more years’ experience in an engineering classification or a Master’s degree with experience in an engineering classification.

Summary pay range for Lead level: $79,050 – $106,950
