We are looking for current college juniors and/or seniors with expected graduation dates within the next year for full-time Summer Internships (12 weeks) beginning in May 2023.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $ 18-25 /hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Core Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a diverse and passionate team of talented engineers in a scrum development environment to develop Global software
• Adhere to quality guidelines and maintain coding standards compliance
• Meet expected release timelines
• Participate in design reviews and generate technical documents
• Work with scrum teams on tasks related to write and debug existing code / debug software bugs and issues / test and validate requirements / work on deployment related tasks
• Perform automated and manual Testing of developed software
• Work with cross-functional teams to release software products
• Proactively take on new tasks while also brainstorming and communicating technology ideas/issues with team members/management
• Learn and apply new tools, technologies, and industry best practices
• Work on research tasks and develop POC

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Working toward Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, computer engineering, or similar software development degree.
  • Ability to travel 5% – 10%.
  • Java Coding skills
  • Proficiency in object-oriented design principles and related design patterns and coding standards.
  • Proficiency in algorithms and data structures.
  • Experience working with SQL Databases
  • Experience with software test patterns and tools, such as JUnit.
  • Proficiency in using and working with Jira, GitLab/GitHub, Confluence.
  • OS: Windows Server.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum software development
  • The following technical knowledge and skills are a plus:
    • Experience in intralogistics / material handling domain
    • Cloud Computing: Google Cloud Platform
    • JavaScript frameworks
    • Java EE technologies like JPA, JPQL, EJBs
    • Database: Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server
    • Proficiency in threading and concurrency concepts and usage in code.
    • Python, C++

• Strong conceptual, quantitative, problem solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum software development
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to accomplish pre defined goals.
• A good sense of humor and an ability to have fun
