Responsibilities:

  • Support the earned value management system and production operation.
  • Comply with all Earned Value Management System policies and procedures
  • Establish time-phased control account (CA) budgets and schedules and manage tasking during performance of the planned work
  • Establish work packages (WP) within the CA as needed
  • Direct staffing assignments and access to WPs
  • Perform monthly estimate at completion (EAC) updates and variance analysis
  • Generate corrective actions and track resolution to completion for variances
  • Assist with execution of production management work as the program representative
  • Track production status and interface with the production team to ensure proper execution of the program plan
  • Lead efforts to develop changes to the production plan for efficiencies, to address changes in product design or process and to ensure on schedule and on budget performance while upholding the highest of quality standards
  • Provide routine assessment of cost, schedule and technical risks within the CAM’s area of responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management, Engineering (preferred) or a related discipline.
  • 7 years minimum of related experience is required
  • Secret Clearance
  • background with earned value management in a low volume, high complexity production environment, preferably for critical electronic systems in a defense contracting capacity.
  • Thorough knowledge of and practical experience working within the EIA-748 earned value management framework
  • High degree of organizational, analysis, and time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Applies innovation and experience to predict and resolve issues before they become problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a wide variety of people from internal teammates to external customers
  • Effectively and efficiently works within time constraints and adjusts to changing circumstances
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Experience with and working knowledge of various ERP/MRP systems and databases
  • Ability to perform financial data analysis as it pertains to earned value management
  • Intermediate to expert level understanding of production operations for integrated electronic systems
  • Provides team leadership
  • Must have strong analytic skills, possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and have the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
