Gridware is on a mission to create a future without deadly wildfires. We’re a startup building hardware and software that monitors the power grid to prevent and detect faults that lead to wildfire ignition. (More about Gridware below).
To make that happen, we’re currently looking for a Data Analyst to help us identify, analyze, and interpret trends from the data collected by our fleet of devices at night.
WHY do we need you?
We’re at an exciting point where we have deployed our first fleets of power grid monitoring devices to customers. As an early team member, you will have the opportunity to join our cutting-edge operational center monitoring the US power grid and acting as the first line of defense for detecting power line faults that might lead to wildfires. The operational center’s main objectives include monitoring the fleet of devices deployed in the field, ensuring fleet reliability, and escalating critical events for rapid response.
Responsibilities
This is what you’ll be doing:
- Monitor real-time data streams from the fleet and document anomalies or issues.
- Investigate and analyze real-time data streams for potential alerts/faults, following the established processes to triage and escalate critical events.
- Create real-time and daily reports for different alerts/faults observed
Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to work night shifts
- A passion for working in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated, self-starting, and able to perform duties without supervision
- Basic understanding of data analytics and anomaly detection
Salary
$20 – $23 / h
