Position Description:

CGI is looking for an Applications Migration SME to join our Oil& Gas Practice. This role is based out of Houston TX.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Work with the Business Stakeholders / Application Administrators to understand different Application Architecture / Interfaces including the underlying Infrastructure
• Develop “AS IS ” Application Visualization Diagrams showing the Work / Data flow across different Application Systems
• Assist Solution Architects to decide the Migration strategy / Solution Approach for different Applications.
• Work with Solution Architects to come with High Level Design / “TO BE” Diagrams for different Applications.
• Assist the Node lead in developing Application Migration Plan.
• Troubleshoot / provide solution for any technical issues during Application Migration
• Work with cross functional team and other work streams to work on the dependencies

Complexities of the role:
• Understanding of application integration and its user authentication, authorization process
• Ability of PC to conduct end user training sessions on information management and records management.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Good skills in analysis, solution development, stakeholder management, communication, implementation and documentation
• Require technically mature individual, to look & understand technical challenges, design and pathways. Not technology specific technical consultant
• Team player who works closely across different workstreams within the BCR Project to deliver a complete solution to the PC
• Knowledge of application-to-application integration
• Prior cloud migrations experience required
• Knowledge of latest technologies in IT Infrastructure / Networking / Security / Operating Systems, etc
• Knowledge of latest developments in Application Hosting, like Cloud, Mobility, Social, Security, etc.
• Previous experience of large-scale Application Migrations

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000 – $204,600
