Job Description

The Content Writer will be responsible for supporting Curinos’ thought leadership strategy as it relates to the company’s many publications that are focused on proprietary financial insights and expertise, with an emphasis on digital and omnichannel experience. As a member of the marketing organization, the Content Writer will support the journalistic creation of (but not limited to), a quarterly magazine publication, monthly reports, white papers, research reports and provide external marketing communications support across product launches and events. Beyond these externally facing materials, the Content Editor will also support internal and external writing activities that focus on the positioning of value-based messaging for digital and omnichannel experience centered Curinos products and solutions across email marketing and event campaigns.

The Content Editor will report directly to Curinos’ Director of Thought Leadership, while working closely with product and thought leadership experts across the organization. They will also collaborate closely with the Marketing Events and Digital Content Managers as it relates to the internal and external positioning of solutions, events and extended marketing email campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • This position plays a key function in the creation of the content strategy for the omnichannel, sales and experience line of business within Curinos, with a focus on progressive marketing, marketing AI and personalization, digital customer journey tracking, marketing metrics and product and branch analysis across the retail banking and FinTech sector.
  • He/She/They will have experience within the Financial omnichannel, sales and digital experience industry and will carry the ability to service as an expert writer, originating themes and writing content for corporate and professional audiences.
  • Work with the Director of Thought Leadership to support the overall thought leadership strategy, contributing to all Curinos publications.
  • Serve as a storyteller within the organization, engaging with thought leaders to collect, draft, edit and release Curinos publications to the market as it relates to weekly, monthly and quarterly publications.
  • Work with product leads within omnichannel sales and experience team to create white papers, case studies and more.
  • Research and analyze industry trends to feed into the editorial and market theming process.
  • Support and contribute to the creation of value-based messaging, positioning, case studies and external collateral, across Curinos product lines.
  • Contribute to the Event Marketing and Digital Content Marketing process, creating content related to omnichannel sales and experience campaigns centered around events, webinars, email communications and more.

Base Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • 7-10 years of writing/editing in financial journalism, with a required focus on the financial digital experience space
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills with the ability to articulate clear and compelling visions to capture the most out of our proprietary research and subject matter experts.
  • Demonstrable experience in conceptualizing, interviewing, drafting, editing and releasing articles to the financial sector
  • Wide-ranging knowledge of financial services with an emphasis on retail and commercial banking
  • Ability to transform content from webinar and other presentations into compelling articles and infographics
  • Extremely strong copy-writing skills, highly creative with the ability to guide visual storytelling that is supplemented with financial graphs and charts
  • Ability to adhere to and drive consistency in our editorial voice as it aligns to the Curinos brand of being an expert in the market
  • Highly organized, collaborative and goal-oriented
  • Ability to commit to and adhere to a publication calendar, achieving tight deadlines when needed
  • Video capabilities a plus
  • High degree of comfort in working closely with senior management as writing/editing partner
