Within our dynamic Global Carrier Relations Team, we are seeking a Contract Administration individual who will liaise with internal and external contacts in the management, oversight and coordination of a range of agreements with carriers.The position reports directly to the Global Carrier Relations leader, and can be performed remotely

What can you expect?

  • In this role, you will be part of a global team with high visibility that oversees management and engagement with more than 1,000 carriers in support of Mercer and Mercer Marsh Benefits’ overall business strategy to enhance client value and revenue growth.
  • Interact and consult daily with key internal business stakeholders (Client Managers, Relationship Managers, lead consultants,Information Security, Privacy, and other key stakeholders) across Mercer.

We will count on you to:

  • Review Producer Agreement – Individual, Group, Vendor, including carrier negotiation and engagement with Mercer Legal and Compliance teams
  • Update/expand Carrier Agreement Playbook to add / update language subject to Legal/Compliance/Operational review
  • Review and support Colleague Appointment
  • Agreement Triage
  • Conduct Supplemental Comp Exception Process
  • Maintain Agreement Archive
  • Turbo Transparency Systems Updates
  • Ad Hoc:
    • Request/distribute updated E&O, W9, other support docs
    • Liaison between MMC Licensing and business (MHB/MHBA) to support corporate licenses (e.g., Designated Licensed Producer)
    • Assist MMC Licensing w TPA registrations
    • Triage/Research jurisdiction filings/appointments (cross company for Ready)
    • Strong and demonstrated business acumen

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Some legal experience, whether law degree or paralegal
  • Insurance industry experience (either broker and/or carrier side experience)
  • Strong written and verbal skill

What makes you stand out:

  • Fluency with Excel and familiarity with common office technology applications
  • Proficient in standard office programs, Word, Teams, etc.
  • Willingness and aptitude to lead negotiation of agreements (both internally and externally)
  • The ability to influence without authority

The applicable base salary range for this role is $99,100 to $198,200.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
