Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Liaise between NY and Paris HQ in the technical execution of beauty counters overseeing process from space confirmation, to brief and design development, bidding, budgeting, and deployment. Keen focus leveraging coordination of all needed contributors for a “best-in-class” adaptation of the concepts from Central to local market needs and criteria. Strategically manage timeline with a specific focus on ultra-qualitative execution.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic management of US and North America store projects; inclusive of budget oversight and project management. Ownership of project briefs and timelines. Oversee partner approvals process, millwork, technical drawings, approvals, bidding, GC management, installation, and punch list completion.
- Manage project database, sharing with Visual and Merchandising team for visibility, execution, and maintenance for consistency of elevated brand presentation.
- Partner with Paris Headquarter in the technical execution for all wholesale flagships, A level, and B tier shops in North America as well as Retail Locations.
- Organize pre-construction meetings to align the various project teams for installation and supervise progress on site during construction.
- Train local suppliers in USA, Canada, Mexico, and other markets as needed to meet international standards of execution. Meet approved budgets and supporting criteria in the adaptation of designs when needed in tandem with the HQ Design team and Architects. Establish Service Level Agreements in coordination with LVMH Legal to exceed quality expectations and in respect of project timeline deadlines. Exchange with all teams in the search for materials and sourcing to respect budget and expectations.
- Train local millwork teams in USA and Canada, and Mexico helping them obtain proper information for optimum execution of details and finishes. Collect and organize data and criteria needed for development of designs within MFK, retailers, and supplier teams.
- Provide constant feedback and evaluation of suppliers and executions in store to both local and global teams supporting optimum execution.
- Review the designs and collaborate with Visual Merchandising team members in the search for optimal presentation aligning with HQ guidelines.
- Acquire and manage cross-functional teams such as architects, millworkers, and general contractors, and train as necessary to align with store design processes and procedures.
- Manage Retail Customization expansion. Present design proposals to landlord for review and negotiate approvals for maximum visibility and presence of the brand. Initiate, review, and approve owner’s review sets, out to bid drawings, and construction documents.
- Review, redline, and approve millwork shop drawings.
- Support Store Design and Visual Merchandising teams in the execution of the punch list upon installation completion, ensuring that the team equipped to manage fully executed project completion.
- Direct Visual Merchandising and Presentation team supporting extraordinary Execution of all store formats: Flagships, A & B counters, Semi-Custom and Generic
- Oversee workflow of Visual Coordinator to ensure ongoing execution of maintenance and Repairs for all MKF North America Beauty and Fragrance Installation doors. (Oversee service platform, manage repairs organization and execution, and support for field team
- Manage and track project budgets. Maintain timely submission of PO requests, and payments to consultants and vendors.
- Conduct site visits and assemble punch lists upon construction turnover.

Qualifications
- Experience in architecture, industrial or interior design required
- 8+ years of experience in store design in beauty or related industry, with architecture/construction experience preferred
- Self-entrepreneurship, self-motivation
- Enhanced communication skills
- Enhanced organization skills
- Ability to work and feel comfortable with ambiguity
- Well-developed emotional intelligence and common sense
- Must be a creative and strategic thinker, an “influencer,” a consensus- builder, and an excellent team player
- Fluency or working knowledge of French is preferred
- Travel required based on needs of the business
- Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
