Job Title: Corporate Vice President – Program Manager

Offered Wage: $144,801/year

Duties: Initiates, plans, and manages end-to-end delivery of large enterprise-wide information technology strategic initiatives, including migration and upgrades, taxonomy implementation, and security-related IT projects. Leads teams through the design, development, testing, and implementation phases of enterprise IT initiatives and monitor progress to ensure projects adhere to milestones and cost targets. Coordinates efforts across teams related to scheduling and planning project activities and develops cohesive program schedules using Microsoft Project and JIRA. Coordinates resource, staffing, and license requirements to develop project budgets and present to capital investment committee. Hosts periodic design sessions to brainstorm and align expectations across business and technology for critical features. Prepares and presents team quarterly backlog at Program Increment sessions.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 3 years of experience as a Corporate Vice President – Program Manager OR managing end-to-end technical delivery of large enterprise-wide strategic initiatives within the financial services industry

OR, in the alternative:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 5 years of experience as a Corporate Vice President – Program Manager OR managing end-to-end technical delivery of large enterprise-wide strategic initiatives within the financial services industry.

Required Skills:

Experience must include 1 year in each of the following skills:

  1. Performing Agile project management in a scaled Agile environment within the Insurance industry;
  1. Leveraging tools such as Rally, JIRA, and/or Clarity PPM to build, manage, and balance project milestones and budgets;
  1. Planning and managing large-scale digital transformation and compliance-related programs within the Insurance industry;
  1. Interfacing with IT, Finance, Compliance, and Business leaders to ensure project goals align with business strategies; and,
  1. Leveraging technical expertise with Legacy mainframe technologies such as Cobol and JCL to perform technology upgrades.
