SENIOR SPECIALIST – Lifecycle Change

This position primarily involves a hybrid work schedule – working remotely: Monday & Friday / on site: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Role Summary

Authenticate the accuracy and timeliness of lifecycle changes made to our clients’ policy terms and billing setup. Assess premium, billing and receivables impact of implemented changes. Conduct audits as needed to determine over/under payments. Work with internal business partners and Clients to drive resolution of system setup issues and audit findings. May act as subject matter expert and resource for team members. May develop and/or recommend training programs to address error trends.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team mailbox by reviewing incoming emails, providing timely and thorough responses, and assigning tasks as necessary
  • Collect and authenticate required documents and data elements supporting change requests.
  • Complete assigned Lifecycle Change tasks by validating accurate and timely system setup.
  • Assess premium, billing and receivables impact of implemented changes.
  • Work with internal and external business partners to educate on the use of premium remittance tools, and premium calculations as compared to specific policy plan designs.
  • Perform simple to moderately complex audit procedures as needed to determine premium over/under payments.
  • Work with internal business partners and Clients to drive resolution of system setup issues and audit findings.
  • Audit and review the accuracy of policy termination activity and ensures compliance with SOX controls.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of previous service experience working in a customer/client-facing role required.
  • Insurance industry knowledge and experience is a plus.
  • General understanding of accounting principles, control procedures and audit standards, practices, and techniques.
  • General knowledge of accounts receivable procedures and systems for reviewing premium remittance payments.
  • Demonstrates a strong focus on customer service when partnering with internal and external business partners.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Excel spreadsheet manipulation and MS Access data input.
  • Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

Salary range: $42,500-$62,500
