Senior Business Intelligence Analyst – *100% Remote*

Job Description

This is the senior level position in the Business Intelligence Analyst. This position supports the organization and its strategic affiliates by leading the development of meaningful reporting and analytic solutions. This position will gather business needs, document requirements, identify appropriate data sources, develop and update reporting objects, provide analysis, and deliver solutions to both internal and external stakeholders. This position is also responsible for interpreting reporting and analytical solutions to help to customers in gaining insight about their areas of accountability and in making strategic decisions. This role may be responsible for mentoring other analysts in the department to help them develop efficient ways of creating reporting and analytics solutions. This role works with a diverse set of stakeholders and is responsible for leading large reporting and analytics projects across multiple regions or stakeholder groups. This position may be responsible for the development and implementation of semantic data layer objects, such as Business Objects Universes, data marts, and custom database objects, to support reporting and analytics solutions for the Providence organization. Additionally, this position will require the creation of presentation layer objects like interactive reports, scorecards, and dashboards and may be responsible for leading development efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Public Health, Business Management, Information Services or Healthcare Admin
  • Six years Healthcare Business Intelligence or related field specific to Business Intelligence
  • Five years Utilization of reporting and analytic tools and techniques.
  • Experience in transformation of business requirements/specifications utilizing BI tools and methodologies into presentation solutions for customers.
