California’s Great America is casting MUSICIANS for a lineup of summer entertainment offerings. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded and experienced musician with a captivating stage presence.
MUSICIANS: Bring your own personal instrument to audition. Please prepare a 30-second solo piece for your audition.
DRUMMERS: video submissions are preferred. A drum kit will NOT be available nor are you encouraged to bring one. Please send your video submissions to KBF.Auditons@knotts.com. Please bring a photo and resume.
ACOUSTIC GUITAR/VOCALIST COMBOS: Bring your own personal instrument to audition. Please prepare a 30-second piece for your audition.
JAZZ DUO/TRIO/QUARTETS: Bring your own personal instrument(s) to audition. Please prepare a 30-second piece for your audition.

Rehearsals begin Monday, May 15th and shows run on select dates through Monday, September 4th. Evening and weekend availability is a large factor for consideration. Additional opportunities for fall and winter seasons are available.
- Musicians must be at least 18 years of age.
- This role is compensated at a starting rate of $23.00/hr.
How You’ll Make A Difference:
- Using your talents to enrich California’s Great America’s atmosphere for guests
- Working as a member of a team to achieve overall atmosphere and goals set by Entertainment leadership and show directors
- Consistently performing your role as scripted and/or conceived
- Remaining in character while “onstage” and in view of guests and interacting with guests while performing in a professional and artistic manner
- Providing guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving accurate directions
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety in assigned work area, performing all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements, and reporting all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision
- Adhering to Cedar Fair’s Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures
- Performing other duties as they are assigned
We’re Looking For:
- Availability towork all assigned rehearsalandevent datesthat include weekday/weekends nights and holidays
- Willingness and ability to wear makeup and costumes for extended periods of timein varying California weather conditions and temperatures
