IFM Program Senior Analyst – C12 (Hybrid)

Brief Description of the Organization

Citi, the leading global financial services company, has some 200 million customer accounts and conducts business in more than 95 Presence countries, providing consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a broad range of financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, and wealth management.

International Franchise Management (IFM) is a corporate function based out of New York that facilitates governance and business connectivity for Citi Country Officers (CCOs) across a vast overseas network. CCOs play a crucial role of leading and protecting the Citi franchise as the lead representative of Citi in a country. IFM works directly with CCOs in partnership with regions, businesses, global functions, legal entities and Citi senior management.

IFM’s core priorities are:

  • CCO talent development – help build and maintain the talent pipeline for CCO roles and support their development journey
  • Country support and coordination – provide guidance and support in line with Citi’s organizational construct for CCOs to effectively govern and manage country level activities to maximize the value of Citi’s global network
  • Business connectivity – facilitate engagement between CCOs and the businesses to leverage the global network in order to drive growth and share best practices

Position Description

The IFM Program Senior Analyst provides execution support on various global projects for Citi’s international franchises and CCOs so that the full potential of the global network is realized. Responsibilities include thew following:

  • Regularly interact with teams in 94 countries outside the US home market and support them on franchise governance and management
  • Assist in global program support and coordination for countries, including corporate priority areas such as risk and controls and regulatory engagement
  • Help manage a central repository of essential information on Citi’s global country network and provide relevant data to requesting businesses, functions and senior management
  • Support an annual governance survey for all CCOs, analyze data for insights, and present results to regional senior managers
  • Provide support to IFM’s global programs, including the flagship annual CCO Global Forum and signature CCO training programs in which Citi senior executives participates
  • Lead IFM’s own risk and controls activities and documentation

Qualifications

This role covers a wide range of subjects, providing the person with a holistic view of Citi and how a CCO as a general manager leads a country franchise. Ideal for an applicant who has an international mindset with diverse interests or who is still figuring out where to specialize in the future.

  • 3+ years of professional experiences in an international bank
  • Strong potential for learning various new subject matters. Dependable, proactive and responsive; adaptive in an unstructured environment
  • Writing clearly and concisely (Your resume will be seen as a writing sample). Commitment to error-free work with exceedingly strong attention to detail
  • Cultural sensitivity in international business; previous international exposure is desirable; additional language is a plus
  • Basic understanding of risk and controls is a plus. Horizontal, cross-silo perspective of Citi operations
  • Highly proficient with MS Office suite for data analysis and presentation with insights
