Analytics and Reporting Specialist – Hybrid

The Policy Analytics and Reporting Specialist will be part of the CAO organization’s Global Business Risk and Control team.

The Global Business Risk and Control group is newly established and is responsible for the development of consistent control frameworks and the subsequent effort to conform front line controls and monitoring to these new standards across the enterprise. The group partners with the business and Risk teams to develop consistent approaches and practices that ensure we have the right checks and balances in place to minimize errors and issues. This includes driving front line controls remediation and control risk execution throughout the enterprise and monitoring effectiveness.

The Analytics and Reporting Specialist will require an in-depth understanding of how the responsibilities of the team contribute to achieving the objectives of the Global Business Risk and Control group and will work closely with compliance to establish a program that will drive adherence to Citi’s policies and standards. The role includes helping to establish and develop the tools and capabilities that will solve complex problems at an enterprise level.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior staff to investigate and respond to compliance risk management issues and prepare routine correspondence.
  • Design and develop reporting frameworks and approaches to provide stakeholders with consistent insights into enterprise-wide compliance risk management matters
  • Establish and evolve appropriate Control metrics, analytics and reporting that provide key insights into compliance risk management to senior management
  • Develop and present findings and engage with stakeholders to support data driven insights and decision-making
  • Create and maintain reports for control, tracking, and analysis purposes and ensure appropriate and secure retention of documents
  • Collect, aggregate, analyze and validate global reporting for policy-related data and information for senior management and Board reporting
  • Drive common Compliance reporting and analytics standards throughout the enterprise
  • Produce periodic and ad hoc senior management and stakeholder reports
  • Implement emerging analytics and impactful visualization approaches and technologies to tell complex stories
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders (i.e., Business & Function Risk/ Control Leads, analytics and reporting managers across Citi), including working effectively with internal audit
  • Support planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running the Analytics and Reporting portfolio of programs. Play a key role in supporting the evolution of enterprise reporting and analytics capabilities
  • Support Head of Controls Analytics and Reporting on making strategic investments in technology, programs, trainings or processes.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10+ years of experience
  • Financial service acumen & or experience to lead large cross functional initiatives
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker; must be able to look towards the broadest possible view of an issue or challenge; can think globally; can discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues and project them into the future
  • Strong organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to bring clarity to challenging problems and to help others engage in and embrace a solution
  • Able to leverage strong business and relationship management acumen to effectively interact with senior leaders and a broad variety of stakeholders
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to respond to changes in priorities
  • Strong executive presence; confident in presenting a balanced view to key stakeholders and senior management
  • Ability to operate with limited level of direct supervision
  • Effective communicator, both orally and in writing and ability to present findings to senior management and stakeholders using data to tell a story
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration across large organizations, including a proactive and ‘no surprises’ approach in communicating issues/requests
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in driving positive and sustained change

Education:

Bachelors/University degree, MBA / Masters degree preferred
