Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with Facilities Management staff to identify database input data for which the content, accuracy, standardization and/or quality needs to be managed. Data governance encompasses the people, processes, and information technology required to create a consistent and proper handling of data across all user groups. One of the key roles of this position will be focused on the input of data, thus ensuring quality control, consistent and reliable output of data. Specific job duties to include; Establishes the data entry standards for all managed data fields. Works collaboratively with the application and Database Administrator(s), Compliance Manager and Facilities Management staff on issues related to the addition, deletion and/or change in the content or parameters of data fields. Communicates and provides training to data entry personnel (ex. for all managed entry fields). Works with automated data entry processes to ensure that data entry standards are being maintained (i.e. Building Information Management). Periodically audits the managed data and data entry fields to ensure data integrity and makes changes or recommendations as necessary. Organizing data governance operational standardization across user groups. Developing, deploying and tracking key metrics to ensure data consistency and integrity across all user groups. Leading cross-functional user teams to standardize and automate preventative maintenance, operational and data management processes. Strengthen and drive data management and business process integration within the Division. Partners with users to develop relationships and an understanding of business needs, goals, and objectives. Develops systems, procedures, processes, and methodologies such that they can be easily and readily understood by all users and provides for efficient operation, flexibility and maintainability. Outcomes of stated job duties include: Increasing consistency and confidence in decision making, Decreasing the risk of regulatory fines Improving data integrity, Maximizing the effective usefulness of data, Designating accountability for information quality, Enable better planning by supervisory staff, Minimizing or eliminating re-work, Optimize staff effectiveness, Establish process performance baselines to enable improvement efforts, Acknowledge and hold all gains.This position may require occasional travel to supported Regions (AZ, FL, SWMN, SEMN, Rochester, NWWI & SWWI). This position supports Mayo’s work from anywhere model and is managed accordingly.

Qualifications

This position requires a minimum of a two year degree in a related technology with at least five years of Facilities Management or Healthcare Technology Management experience in the performance of maintenance management systems. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to evolving data governance changes. Must be self-motivated to work independently and on teams with minimal direction and supervision. Excellent organization, documentation, and follow-up skills with a demonstrated problem-solving capability. Highly collaborative work ethic with a demonstrated ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships. Effective partnership/consultant skills to add value and facilitate decision-making/consensus building. Must be competent in the use of the typical suite of office productivity computer applications. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification required within six months of hire.
