Verifies consistency and accuracy of accounting documents. Reconciles accounts payable accounts and records. Requires knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Performs accounts payable functions.
- Researches and corrects payment processing discrepancies.
- Ensures completeness and accuracy.
- Compiles invoices and arranges payment.
- Ensures appropriate compliance with laws and regulations.
- Maintains effective vendor relationships.
- Performs clerical accounting work involving financial records keeping and processing.
- Ensures appropriate compliance with company expense policy.
- Responds to requests for accounts payable information throughout the organization.
- Perform various analysis and ad-hoc requests of accounts payable financial data
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Six months or more of accounting or finance experience
- Bookkeeping principles
- Highly organized
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
- Able to meet deadlines
- High school diploma preferred
- One to two years related financial clerical experience (accounts payable, accounts receivable or general accounting.
Salary range:$32,500.00 – $53,900.00. The actual base salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective’s footprint. Additional considerations include the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
