Maintenance Mechanic, 3rd Shift – $5,000 Retention Bonus

Position Summary
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll perform predictive, preventative, and emergency maintenance tasks on our high-speed packaging equipment. You’ll use computerized maintenance systems to track equipment reliability, manage time, and maintain records like equipment logs and reports. In this role, you’ll also handle:

  • Pre-start up review
  • Greasing and re-builds
  • Removal, repair, and installation of equipment
  • Maintaining computerized documentation for PM01 and PM02s
  • Developing close working relationships with equipment operators
  • Troubleshooting emergency equipment failures

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 1-year certificate from college or technical school, or 1 to 2 years’ related
  • experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred
  • Ability to understand documents regarding safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine repots and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or fellow teammates
  • Abide by all plant rules/policies including safety, GMP regulations and perform good housekeeping practices
  • Must be able to work in a team-based environment
