Job Summary

In the role of Treasury Manager, you are an integral member of the Global Cash and Operations team. You will utilize your leadership and operational competencies to support Treasury with a high number of critical projects and programs. You will not only assist with traditional cash management duties but will also be responsible for the evolution and enhancements of existing processes. This role will be proactive with the identification and elimination of inefficiencies; a non-stop focus on process improvements is expected. This position is based in Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Become proficient with all global cash management and operations activities, such as daily cash management and reconciliation of bank accounts, corporate banking structure activities, trade settlements, and administrator for various banking portals
  • Represent Treasury as a stakeholder in complex and strategic cross-functional initiatives to enable the future of NetApp’s business; leverage the latest treasury technologies, working with outside vendors and IT resources to assess and implement
  • Partner with tax, accounting, and legal to centralize international and operational cash
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement and engage with internal and external stakeholders to rationalize, streamline, and modernize legacy processes and deliverables
  • Evaluate current treasury systems and make recommendations for modifications and improvements that support transparency, efficiency and cost reduction
  • Manage processes related to month-end and quarter-end close, variance analysis, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Ensure all cash management processes are compliant with internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Review and update treasury policies and procedures and assist with managing treasury compliances in the area of SOX control and audit
  • Assist with foreign exchange hedging and reporting for balance sheet and economic programs (monthly)

Job Requirements

  • Effective business partnering skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • European cash pools experience
  • Daily global cash forecasting, investment, and liquidity experience
  • Ability to present ideas and concepts clearly to peers and senior management
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to document procedures, while prioritizing and driving process improvement
  • Broad conceptual judgment, initiative, and ability to deal with complex and ambiguous situations
  • Must be able to routinely make decisions that affect immediate operations
  • Intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset
  • Experience in a corporate treasury team
  • Familiarity with US GAAP

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably with a business and finance major; Master’s degree is highly preferred
  • 12+ years of working experience in a finance environment
  • Experience with Kyriba and Oracle Cloud ERP
  • Familiarity with cash pooling, payments factory, and in-house banking is a plus

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is [$135,000] – [$179,000]. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset, and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
