Job Title: IBM MDM Developer
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IBM MDM Developer to join our team. The IBM MDM Developer will be responsible for the development and customization of MDM solutions using Java/J2EE and database technologies. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Oracle databases and strong communication skills. Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux is also required.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop MDM solutions using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Customize MDM solutions to meet the specific needs of the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and design MDM solutions to meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain MDM data models, workflows, and business rules.
- Optimize MDM performance by tuning configurations and monitoring metrics.
- Troubleshoot issues with MDM systems and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure that MDM security is implemented as per organizational policies and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain MDM-based libraries and frameworks for reusability and consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest MDM features, enhancements, and trends.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in MDM development and customization.
- Proficient in Java/J2EE technologies and frameworks.
- Strong experience with Oracle databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Develop coding (business layer coding interface development service development creation of stored procedures etc.) as required in the project
- Raise clarifications / issues / concerns regarding work output to the lead on time seek review from peer / Senior Developer periodically rework on the code based on code review / defects raised in unit testing or any other relevant testing phases participate in code peer review as required
- Highlight any potential risks to the Leads and seek inputs to resolve issues identified support integration of components as required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Salary and Other Compensation :
The annual salary for this position is between $121k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
