Job Description
Conduct profitability analyses on products, customers, and various market segments; pricing/profitability support, develop and maintain the customer, market segment, and channel profitability models. Work with Pricing Manager in evaluating customer or project special pricing. Work with Operations and Product Managers on current, new, and obsolete items.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key responsibility for the establishment and maintenance of product, customer, market segment, and channel profitability models
- Develop and maintain cost models to allow pricing and sales teams to better understand margins
- Work with Operations and Marketing Product Managers on current, new, and obsolete products and offerings. Includes annual product roll-out, bill of material review, etc
- Work with Pricing Manager in evaluating customer and/or project special pricing
- Work with sales and marketing leadership to evaluate promotions and incentive programs
- Coordinates and prepares quarterly pricing reviews
- Core team member for market intelligence and profitability management solutions
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in business analytics in a manufacturing environment required
- Prior experience in multi-channel product manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
- Highly Analytical with strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Detail-oriented with proven organizational, time management, and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently in a hands-on environment
- Ability to build relationships in a team atmosphere
- Actively promotes new ways of looking at problems, processes, or solutions
- Strong understanding of financial and economic concepts such as gross margin and price discounting
- Highly proficient in Excel, Access, and other computational software
- Proficient in JD Edwards and/or knowledge of relational database design preferred

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
