Job Summary:

As a Senior Analyst on the Growth Strategy & Business Development team, you will support key strategic initiatives and business operations across the GreenSky division, with a particular emphasis on the pricing, structuring, and analysis of the loan products we offer our clients. This includes creating financial models, conducting market research and competitive analyses, developing partnership opportunities, collaborating with the Sales organization to develop proposals, assisting in the execution of strategic initiatives, monitoring and reporting on key projects, resolving critical breakdowns in processes or policy, and a variety of other activities to drive results. This is a challenging role that requires hard work, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to execute both quickly and effectively.

Growth Strategy & Business Development team members directly influence the trajectory the division by functioning as an internal consulting team. This role will report to the Vice President of Growth Strategy & Business Development and will be held accountable for delivering on value creation initiatives across the division.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuously support the VP and leadership team in establishing, measuring, and reporting on the status of key strategic projects and deliverables across Goldman Sachs’s GreenSky division
  • Conduct various financial analyses related to the pricing and structuring of financial products in conjunction with the VP
  • Work directly with the Sales leadership to develop proposals and provide recommendations to the VP related to pricing, structure, and deal terms
  • Analyze potential pricing changes for various financial products and the resulting impact to both merchant and overall portfolio profitability
  • Review, evaluate, and maintain merchant contracts for new and revised pricing agreements
  • Assist with the overall management of the pricing/loan product ecosystem
  • Stay up-to-date on market/competitive dynamics and key developments in the Financial Technology space, as well as the overall financial services industry

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate development/strategy, or operational experience in a high-growth company / startup
  • Knowledge and experience within financial services or financial technology is preferred
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work effectively with business leaders and senior executives
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide concise briefings and recommendations. The ability to understand complex issues and develop clear assessments should be a strength.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. To be successful you will need to be thorough and on-point in an environment where things change extremely quickly.
  • A positive attitude and humility; a self-starter

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $90,000-$124,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
