Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School is a state-wide, public (tuition-free) K-12 cyber charter school with a substantial number of students. General Summary:

To effectively and efficiently execute the role of handling student materials/book inventory, assignment, returns, and other related shipping activities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Receiving of student book shipments from vendors and student families
  • Daily inventorying, accounting for, assigning, handing out of books and course related materials for orientations at the 1332 office
  • Daily shipping of student materials/books for students who complete orientations
  • Thorough command of PALCS asset management software (MSIS and AMS)
  • Assisting with day-to-day operations of Student Materials with regards to shipping and receiving books and computers as well as related warehouse work, as requested by the Student Materials Supervisor

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

  • Pennsylvania Clearances: Act 34, 114, and 151
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office*
  • 1-3 years experience in educational setting a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills are essential: must be a poised, confident and engaging presenter
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ensure consistent and repeatable training processes and procedures.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in computer word processing; spreadsheets; internet; and typing
  • Excellence in time management, organization, multitasking and prioritizing
  • Highly collaborative

Salary and Benefits:

  • This is a 12 month position with an hourly rate of $18/hour less applicable payroll deductions

Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands:

  • Physical: Normal vision, speech, hearing, walking, sitting, standing, lifting, stooping, bending, grasping, keyboarding, and filing ability – Must be able to lift or move items weighing approximately 25 pounds or more with or without reasonable accommodation.
