Our Member Experience team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead with deep clinical and client service experience to join our team as a Clinical Lead for our Remote Second Opinion (RSO) clients. As a Clinical Lead, you will work to develop and optimize workflows and processes and work closely with patients who are seeking expert medical opinions from leading academic medical centers. This position is an essential role at the heart of Summus and has the potential for tremendous growth opportunities within our organization as we scale.
Responsibilities:
- Be the ultimate player/coach! You will lead by example in going above and beyond for patients and physicians
- Manage a team of client service professionals to ensure that RSO operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Provide mentorship and guidance to your direct reports, including training and performance evaluations
- Coach your team to achieve and surpass target KPIs
- Triage member requests and oversee management of daily case operations for your direct reports
- Deftly balance competing priorities
- Analyze patient and physician feedback and data to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Develop and implement protocols and guidelines to ensure the highest quality member experience
- Identify areas for improvement in RSO processes and procedures, and develop and implement solutions in partnership with Clinical Operations, Product, and Engineering to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Serve as an advocate for patients and physicians, ensuring that their needs and concerns are heard and addressed
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing, to ensure the member experience is integrated across all touchpoints
- Demonstrate excellence in client service, written and oral communication, project management, and problem solving

Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in a clinical leadership role, preferably in a remote setting
- Degree in Medicine, Nursing, or other relevant healthcare discipline
- Passion for making patient-centric, innovative healthcare accessible
- Aptitude for learning new products
- Ability to break down complex topics and explain them simply
- High emotional quotient and comfort dealing with sensitive topics
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Receptive to close coaching and feedback

Salary range is $110,000 – $125,000 plus bonus target depending on experience
