Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, inquisitive, and experienced resource for the position of a collection’s specialist for our finance team in our North Carolina office. An ideal candidate is motivated problem-solver who can collaborate and communicate effectively with accuracy and an eye for detail.

As a Credit & Collections Specialist, your responsibilities include:

  • Manage collections for NetApp accounts/portfolios and send statement of accounts
  • Review customer aging report and follow-up on payments for outstanding invoices/ accelerate cash collections
  • Follow-up with customers on missing remittances and provide details to cash applications team
  • Work with internal as well as external teams to resolve disputes resulting in payment delays
  • Use the collections tools effectively. Update collections activities in the system, collection notes, promises, problems and disputes
  • Work on ad hoc requests from external as well as internal teams
  • Provide back-up for team members in case they are out of office and handle queries related to their portfolios
  • Assist with Collection Forecasting
  • Weekly Collection meeting documentation engaging with other team members

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience with Oracle and GetPaid
  • High level understanding of order to cash process
  • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and collections; B2B collections experience
  • Ability to work independently, but also collaborate effectively with team members to reach team targets and goals
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask
  • Flexible with working in shifts and adaptable to changes
  • Ability to demonstrate integrity and the use of good judgment to handle the confidential nature of duties, tasks, and information
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Good verbal and written communications skills; English Language skills are required for written and verbal communications

Education

A minimum of 2+ years of applicable experience is required

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $72,900 – $103,730. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
