Reports To: Regional Finance Director
Job Classification: Salary Exempt
Work Location: Hybrid (WFH & DC Headquarters)
This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist regional finance director and deputy director in the day-to-day fundraising operations for the DCCC finance department;
- Assist in the development and execution of all fundraising events;
- Work with Members of Congress as well as the donor community;
- Prepare donor meeting and event materials as necessary;
- Provide key administrative and organizational support to the finance team;
- Other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Previous political fundraising experience preferred;
- NGP experience is preferred;
- Travel is sometimes required for this position;
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Commitment to the election of Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives;
- Familiarity with Democratic political actors and landscape a plus;
- Previous administrative experience required;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Superior time management, attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
About the DCCC:
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, research support and management consulting. In addition, the DCCC’s Independent Expenditure supports these campaigns with television, radio and other voter contact efforts. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country.
