JOB SUMMARY
Perform all carpentry and painting
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Able to build walls metal stud construction
- be able to hang sheet rock
- Complete work orders.
- Install new layouts for all gaming tables as required.
- Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs.
- Laminate wood and cabinets
- Requires regular, predictable attendance.
- Other job related duties as may be assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Excellent communication skills
- Understand and comply with all hotel and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff
- Read, write and communicate verbally in English
- Ability to perform basic math; working knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work may be performed inside and outside in all types of weather conditions
- Work in small areas, such as attics, and high areas such as catwalks, areas that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky, dimly lit or brightly illuminated.
- Work entails use of chemicals, and electrical and mechanical devices.
- Constant contact with staff and guests.
